Crestwood, Illinois: With almost every game being a "must-win," the Freedom came into last night's game knowing that Chillicothe won't cool off anytime soon, and the Paints beat the Gateway Grizzlies, while the Freedom fell to the T-Bolts, and out of a playoff spot, for now.
The offense came from Kyle Geswein, he went 2-4 with two RBI. Trevor Hall also added an RBI. Mike Causey gave up two runs, Curt Moenter gave up three, and he picked up the loss, his record now stands at 3-2. Josh Sanchez added a single, and he scored a run.
The Freedom are glad to get out of Windy City, next they swap opponents with Chillicothe, the Freedom travel to Gateway, and the Paints travel to Windy City. The Freedom are only one game out of a playoff spot, and sit in third place in the Frontier League East division.
