
Freedom Embark on Crucial Home Stand

FLORENCE, Ky - The next six home games for the Florence Freedom, presented by Titan Mechanical Solutions, come at a critical point in the season, and the Freedom need their fans behind them as they enter the home-stretch of the 2018 campaign. Coming off a 4-3 road trip this past week, Florence is within a game and a half of first place in the Frontier League West Division, a spot currently occupied by the River City Rascals. After the East Division, Lake Erie Crushers come to Florence Friday through Sunday, the Freedom will host those Rascals for three games starting next Tuesday. This will be a pivotal series, with major implications as the post-season chase heats up over the final month of the regular-season.
The Freedom currently own a 35-34 record and have 15 home games remaining.
Fans are rewarded for purchasing tickets in advance of game day, as reserved tickets start at just $9 ($3 savings per ticket) when purchased in advance. Promotions in this series include the following:
Friday
The home stand gets underway on Friday night with a tilt against the Lake Erie Crushers. Be sure to stick around after the game for what will be, "The biggest fireworks show of the Freedom baseball summer" according to Elite Pyrotechnics.
The Super Fireworks Show is presented by Citi Jobs. Citi will be on the concourse with job opportunities for fans to learn about.
Gates will open at 6:05 p.m., and first pitch is schedule for 7:05. Fireworks detonated by Elite Pyrotechnics, presented by Arlinghaus Heating and Air.

Saturday
The Freedom bourbon trail will be back on the concourse in 2018, and tequila will be making it's second appearance to this year's event as well! Saturday, August 4th is Bourbon and Tequila Fest presented by Boone County Distilling! Fans can enjoy tastings and visits with the distilleries on the concourse. Bourbon and tequila pairings will be available with the purchase of drink vouchers from distillery representatives.
Pricing for the day: $2.50 for a (1) 0.25 oz sample or $10 for 5 0.25 oz samples.
It's also a Rockin' Saturday with a post-game concert by Drysdales.
Gates will open at 5:05 p.m., and first pitch is scheduled for 6:05.

Sunday
Princess Night makes its final stop for 2018 at UC Health Stadium on Sunday, August 5th. Come and visit with your favorite princesses from A Characteristic Attitude on the concourse as the Freedom take on the Lake Erie Crushers at 2:35PM. Gates open at 1:35PM. Stick around post-game as kids get to run the bases and will be treated to a Freedom team autograph session.

Tuesday
The Freedom wan to help say thank you and recognize all hardworking office/medical assistants at the ballpark. All healthcare employees will be recognized on the field pre-game with their families during a parade. Healthcare employees that book as a group will receive the following benefits:
Free hot dog or soft pretzel ($3 - $4.50 value)
Kids will receive a free Kids Zone wristband ($5 value)
To qualify as a group you must purchase a minimum of 15 tickets.
It's also a Taco Tuesday! Enjoy $2 tacos and $2 10oz Cerveza Mexican Style Lagers.

Wednesday
The Freedom is partnering with local libraries across the Tri-State to show how important reading is! It is a night to showcase our love of reading with the community & help kids learn that READING IS FUN! The Freedom take on the River City Rascals.
Sign up your children for your local libraries Summer Reading Program & they will get a free ticket for this game! They can be picked up at the library! This summer when the Florence Freedom, presented by Titan Mechanical Solutions, play at home on Wednesdays, fans will be treated to a whole host of promotions both at the concession stands, and at the gates.
In addition, the Roehr Insurance Agency sponsors Wednesday winning insurance. If the Freedom for whatever reason don't win on Wednesdays, fans can redeem their ticket for the final home game of the season (August 30th).
Boone County Distilling presents Whiskey Wednesday during each Wednesday home game. Boone County Distilling products will be $1 off at the Freedom Bar.
Kentucky Proud also presents discounts on a host of Kentucky Proud products, supporting Kentucky agriculture. Save $1 on Kentucky Proud products like Glier's hot dogs, Stonebrook Winery wine and popcorn at the concession stands.

Thursday
The final game of the home stand is Catholic Night, and the Freedom ask that you join Parishes and Catholic organizations as the Freedom celebrate the Catholic Faith. The Freedom take on the River City Rascals. Since it's a Thursday, enjoy $1 beer pricing and other beverage specials throughout the night. Join us in a night celebrating the Catholic faith and the Year of Prayer for Priestly Vocations. There will also be 1,000 baseballs given away this night to the first 1,000 fans through the gates sponsored by Diocese of Covington and DBL Law!
As mentioned, it is also a Thirsty Thursday, presented by Miller Lite and WEBN. presented by Miller Lite and WEBN. Enjoy $1 Miller Lite and $1 Coors Light drafts all night long.
