Free Skate after Sunday's Game

AUGUSTA, GA— The Augusta Lynx hockey team will skate with their fans after Sunday afternoon's season finale when they host the Pee Dee Pride at the Civic Center starting at 4:05 PM. All fans in attendance with a ticket stub will be allowed out on the ice with the Lynx hockey player's for an hour skate. Anyone wishing to skate with the Lynx will need to bring their own skates, as skates will not be made available.

The annual game worn jersey auction will take place in the Lynx Den following Sunday's game with proceeds going to the Augusta Lynx Foundation. The Foundation has supported local Augusta Charities since the inception of Lynx hockey. The Lynx will also auction off game worn helmets this year in conjunction with the jersey auction. The auction is set to get underway approximately one half hour after the game.

With three games left on the regular season home schedule, the Lynx will be hosting the Pee Dee Pride tonight at the Civic Center with a face-off set for 7:05 PM. The Lynx entertain the South Carolina Stingrays on Friday night at 7:35 PM with Fan Appreciation Night being the theme. The final game of the season is on Sunday afternoon at 4:05 PM against the Pee Dee Pride with a skate with the team and jersey auction following the conclusion of the game.
