Florida's Kos Suspended Three Games

March 25, 2003 - ECHL (ECHL) News Release


PRINCETON, N.J. – The East Coast Hockey League announced on Tuesday that it has suspended Florida defenseman Kyle Kos for three games as a result of his actions in ECHL Game # 916 at South Carolina on March 22.

At 2:55 of the third period, Kos was assessed game misconduct penalties under Rule 41(a) – Abuse of Officials and Rule 73(a) – Obscene Gesture. The game misconduct under Rule 73(a) is subject to an automatic one-game suspension.

Kos is automatically suspended for two games under Rule 28(e) – Misconduct Penalties.

Kos will miss Florida's games vs. Charlotte (Mar. 25), vs. Columbia (Mar. 28) and vs. Columbia (Mar. 29).
