Friday, March 21 Lexington 0 @ Wheeling 4

The Nailers entered this game 3-3-1 against the Men-O-War during the regular season series. This game was the final meeting between these two teams. Dmitri Doulebenets gave the Nailers a 1-0 lead with a shorthanded goal at 1:32 of the first period. Steve Crampton assisted on the goal. Doulebenets scored his second goal of the game at 10:49 of the first period to give Wheeling a 2-0 lead. Mark Major and Crampton assisted on Doulebenets' second goal. The Nailers increased their lead to 3-0 at 11:38 of the first period on a Zenon Konopka goal. Michel Ouellet and Bobby Russell assisted on the even strength goal. Ouellet scored the final goal of the game at 10:14 of the second period to give the Nailers a 4-0 lead. Konopka and Matt Smith assisted on the score. Mike Valley recorded his team leading third shutout of the season by making 30 saves on 30 shots. It was the Nailers fifth shutout of an opponent this season.

Saturday, March 22 Trenton 6 @ Wheeling 1

This was the second game this season the Nailers were the home team against the Trenton Titans, but the first time at the Wheeling Civic Center. The Nailers entered the game 0-2-0 against the Titans in the first two meetings. Trenton took a 1-0 lead at 7:01 of the first period in this game on a Marco Charpentier goal. The Titans extended their lead to 2-0 at 16:34 of the first period on a B.J. Kilbourne goal. Trenton scored two more times in the second period to take a 4-0 lead through two periods of play. Kilbourne scored his second goal of the game at 18:00 of the second period. The Titans fourth goal of the game came 32 seconds later at 18:32. Jeff Smith scored the goal for the Titans. Trenton scored two third period goals to hold their largest lead of the game at 6-0. The Titans third period goals were scored by Tyler Beechey at 3:45 and Steve O'Brien at 11:00. The Nailers only goal of the game was scored at 12:14 of the final period. Zenon Konopka scored the shorthanded goal from Bobby Russell and Mario Larocque. Tyler MacKay made 31 saves on 37 shots in the loss.

Sunday, March 23 Wheeling 0 @ Trenton 1

The Nailers suffered their seventh shutout of the season in the final regular season meeting of the season against the Titans. In the only other game for the Nailers in Trenton this season the Titans won 3-0 on October 30. The only goal of the game was a power play goal at 10:28 of the first period to give the Titans a 1-0 lead. Scott Bertoli scored the goal from Steve O'Brien and Tyler Beechey. Mike Valley made 30 saves on 31 shots in the loss.

Tuesday, March 25 Wheeling @ Cincinnati 7:05p.m.

The Nailers travel to Cincinnati for the final time during the regular season. Wheeling is 5-2-0 against the Cyclones this season including 2-1-0 in Cincinnati. This is the final game of the regular season between these two teams.

Friday, March 28 Johnstown @ Wheeling 7:30p.m.

The Nailers host the Johnstown Chiefs for the final time this season. The Nailers are 4-3-0 against the Chiefs this season including 2-1-0 at home. This will be the final game for season ticket holder ticket redemption night. Nailers season ticket holders can redeem their unused tickets for tickets to this game.

Saturday, March 29 Wheeling @ Johnstown 7:30p.m.

The Nailers final road game of the season is in Johnstown against the Chiefs. The Nailers are 2-2-0 in Johnstown this season.

Sunday, March 30 Toledo @ Wheeling 3:00p.m.

The Nailers end their regular season against the Toledo Storm. It will be Fan Appreciation Day during this game. There will be many prizes given out to the fans during the course of the game. There will also be a season ticket holder party with the team after the game.
