Colorado Springs Sky Sox News Release
The Colorado Springs Sky Sox are opening up the gates to Security Service Field for Free to fans to come watch today's unscheduled late afternoon game against the Iowa Cubs (Triple-A Affiliate Chicago Cubs).
Because of the unique spring weather in Colorado Springs, a long rain delay today has pushed back the start of the regularly scheduled game from 11:00 AM to 3:10 PM. Anyone wishing to come out and see the game will get free parking and a free ticket to the game to see the Sky Sox battle the Iowa Cubs. Fans just need to come to the ballpark and stop by the box office to receive their free ticket for the game. The game is a scheduled for nine innings and is expected to begin at approximately 3:10 PM.
