Rookie Leo Lazarev made 23 saves for his second shutout of the season and Alex Lintuniemi had a goal and assist as the 67's won its fourth straight, a 2-0 victory over the Belleville Bulls on Friday night at TD Place.

Lintuniemi potted the game-winner four minutes into the middle period, pinching in from the point to take a feed from Dante Salituro in the slot before sliding the puck just inside the post behind Bulls goalie and Ottawa native Connor Hicks.

The Bulls pressed in the final moments of the third, but the 67's got a break with four minutes left when newcomer Curtis Meighan whacked in a rebound to give Ottawa control.

The victory moved the 67's to within one point of North Bay for third place in the OHL Eastern Conference, and also increased Ottawa's lead over fifth-place Belleville by six points.

The 67's played without captain Travis Konecny, the MVP of Thursday's Top Prospects Game, who served the second game of a two-game suspension for receiving a penalty for slew-footing.

Ottawa has the remainder of the weekend off and returns to action, with Konecny expected to play, on Tuesday, January 27 at TD Place against the Oshawa Generals. Face-off is at 7 p.m.
