ALTOONA, PA - The Altoona Curve return home just in time to celebrate Independence Day at Blair County Ballpark. The Curve's promotions over this six game homestand will leave fans in aw, feeling awful, and awfully wet as Everybody's Hometown Team continues to provide a wide variety of activities for fans of all ages to enjoy at great prices. Fireworks on two consecutive nights kick-off the homestand on July 4th and 5th, followed by the nationally renowned Awful Night on Monday July 6th. To close the homestand the Curve will have Super Splash Day on Thursday July 9th for the kids to enjoy.

Great seats are still available for Saturday's July 4 game but are going fast! Fans are urged to call 877-99-CURVE, log on to AltoonaCurve.com or stop by the BCB box office to reserve the best seats!

Post game Fireworks spectacular presented by the PA Association of Community Bankers and the Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition. Pre-Game Catch on the field, Post-Game Kid's Run the Bases Monday July 6, 2009 - Bowie Baysox at Altoona Curve 7:05 p.m. (Gates open at 6:00 p.m.)

Awful Night VII Monday Madness 2.0/3.0 - Fans can purchase general admission outfield tickets for $2 and purchase 16 ounce domestic draft beers for $2 in version 2.0. For version 3.0 fans can upgrade to grandstand seats for $3. Tuesday July 7, 2009 - Erie SeaWolves at Altoona Curve 7:05 p.m. (Gates open at 6:00 p.m.)

Two-for-Tuesday presented by Atlantic Broadband: Get two tickets for the price of one, two popcorns for the price of one and two hot dogs for the price of one! Presented by the Breast Cancer Coalition. PA Breast Cancer Coalition charity Home Run Derby at Blair County Ballpark during the day! Wednesday July 8, 2009 - Erie SeaWolves at Altoona Curve 7:05 p.m. (Gates open at 6:00 p.m.)

Going Green Night: The Altoona Curve and Waste Management team up to show fans some "Green Initiatives" - Wear green on this day and support your environment! Win-It-Wednesday: The first 2,000 fans through the gates at BCB will receive a guaranteed winning scratch off ticket courtesy of Snyder's of Hanover, Giant Eagle, and WTAJ. Thursday July 9, 2009 - Erie SeaWolves at Altoona Curve 12:05 p.m. (Gates open at 11:00 a.m.)

Super Splash Day: Blair County Ballpark turns into a water park for the kids. Bring your bathing suits and make sure your tickets are in the "Curve Wet Zone!" Thirsty Thursday: Fans receive half off on small sodas and a select 16 ounce draft beer.
