Harrisburg Senators News Release

Division leading Akron Aeros. Even though it is a short three-day homestand there is plenty of fun packed into it!

Major Leaguer Dmitri Young is currently on the Sens roster as he is on a MLB rehab assignment from the Washington Nationals. Young is a two-time all-star (2003 & 2007) and the 2007 National League Comeback Player of the Year. LHP Matt Chico is also rehabbing with the Sens but he is not expected to pitch during the four-game series, but will be in Harrisburg with the Senators.

A "fireworks extravaganza" is on tap for Saturday night after the game. It promises to be the best fireworks show of the season at Metro Bank Park.

In addition to the on-field action, giveaways, and fun, abc27 sports anchor Gregg Mace is joining Terry Byrom on the radio broadcast Sunday afternoon. Mace has been covering the Senators since they returned to City Island in 1987 and this will be his first opportunity to do play-by-play. Mace is doing the middle-three innings of play-by-play of each game on Sunday.
