
Four Trashers, coach Stirling selected to All-Star team

DANBURY, CT - The United Hockey League has announced the upcoming rosters for the All-Star Game and the Danbury Trashers will be well represented with four players and head coach Todd Stirling among the selections.
Due to Danbury's 1st place standing and winning percentage at the cut-off date for the All-Star selection process, Todd Stirling was selected to coach the upcoming UHL All-Star Game, which will take place on Monday January 24th at the Glens Falls Civic Center, home of the Adirondack Frostbite. Stirling will coach Team Pepsi, which consists of the entire Eastern Division, along with Port Huron, Flint and Motor City of the Central Division.
Four players were also selected to represent Danbury in the game, as Scott Stirling, Bruce Richardson, Nicholas Bilotto and Mike Bayrack will participate as members of Team Pepsi.
Scott Stirling currently leads all UHL goaltenders with 21 wins. Currently he is 21-7-1 with a 2.42 GAA and a .927 save percentage. He was the UHL/Southern Sports Supply goaltender of the month for November 2004.
Richardson is 2nd in scoring with 34 points on 10 goals in 35 games played this season, his first in the UHL. Bilotto has 15 points on one goal with a +2 plus/minus rating and Bayrack leads all Danbury goal scorers with 19 in 34 games. Bayrack is 3rd on the team in points with 30 and leads the club with four shootout goals and is tied for the team lead with four game-winning goals.
All fans are invited to help select the starters for the game by visiting http://www.theuhl.com to make their All-Star starting selections for both Team Pepsi and Team Mountain Dew. Voting is now underway with the cut-off scheduled for Monday January 17th. The league will announce the starters on Wednesday January 24th.
