Four Players Released From Training Camp

Pensacola, FL - The 2005-06 Brabham Cup Champion Pensacola Ice Pilots announced that forward Brett Roat, forward Rob Kapuscinski, forward Jay Dopaco and forward Aaron Lewicki have been released from the training camp roster.

The Ice Pilots currently have 17 players in training camp as center Brain Collins arrived today and practiced with the team.

The Ice Pilots will begin their tenth anniversary season this Friday night at home vs. the Greenville Grrowl at 7:05 p.m. and will also play at home on Saturday night vs. the Gwinnett Gladiators at 7:05 p.m.

The Ice Pilots will be donating proceeds of the Ice Pilots home opener vs. Greenville to the "Pensacola Community Foundation" to help victims of Hurricane Katrina, Rita, Dennis and Ivan. The proceeds will be distributed to the hurricane victims in Pensacola and throughout the gulf coast.
