PORTLAND, Ore. - United Soccer Leagues announced today that Portland Timbers forward Bryan Jordan was selected to the USL First Division Team of the Week for Week 17. It is Jordan's second Team of the Week selection this season.

Jordan, 22, scored his second goal of the season in the Timbers' 1-1 draw against the Charleston Battery on Aug. 9 at PGE Park. Also selected in Week 16, Jordan is the second Timbers player this season to earn Team of the Week honors in consecutive weeks - defender Cameron Knowles earned back-to-back honors for Week 4 and 5.

Jordan has recorded two goals and an assist in two matches since rejoining the Timbers on loan from Major League Soccer's Los Angeles Galaxy on July 30. In total, he has appeared in seven matches with the Timbers this season.

The Timbers play host to the Montreal Impact on Saturday at PGE Park on Takayuki Suzuki Bobblehead Night presented by Toyota. The first 1,000 fans receive a Suzuki bobblehead. Tickets, starting at $11, are available through the PGE Park box office, area Ticketmaster outlets, online at www.ticketmaster.com or by phone at (503) 224-4400.
