
Fort Wayne & South Bend Postponed by Rain, Doubleheader Set for Thursday

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The TinCaps and South Bend Cubs (Chicago Cubs) had their scheduled game on Wednesday night at Parkview Field postponed due to rain. Fort Wayne and South Bend now are scheduled to play a doubleheader at Parkview Field on Thursday with Game 1 beginning at 5:35 p.m. (90 minutes earlier than the originally scheduled start time).
Per Minor League Baseball's rules, both games on Thursday will be scheduled for seven innings. Tickets for Thursday are good for both games. Gates will open at 5:05 p.m.
Thursday is a "Thirsty Thursday," which includes $1 domestic draft beer and other drink specials. Thursday will also feature Postgame Fireworks presented by Lutheran Schools.
Fans who had tickets to Wednesday's game can redeem their tickets for any remaining 2018 regular season game at Parkview Field. The tickets must be exchanged at the Parkview Field Ticket Office for tickets of equal or lesser value, with the ability to upgrade, based on availability. There are no full or partial cash refunds. Weather permitting, the TinCaps will officially welcome their 4,000,000th fan at Parkview Field on Thursday. Fans who came to Parkview Field on Wednesday night and entered into the team's 4,000,000th fan contest giveaway of $10,000 in prizes will be carried over into Thursday's game, and don't need to be present on Thursday to win. Fans who do attend Thursday's doubleheader also will be allowed to enter.
