Former Buffalo Bill, Pro Football Hall of Famer Thurman Thomas to Appear at Amerks Game April 3

(Rochester, NY) - The Rochester Americans announced today that former Buffalo Bills running back and Pro Football Hall of Famer Thurman Thomas will take part in a "Chalk Talk" with fans prior to the Amerks game against the Grand Rapids Griffins on Sunday, April 3 at The Blue Cross Arena.

Thomas will hold a Q&A session with fans from 4:00 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. in the Amerks Hall of Fame area. The popular Hall of Famer will talk football and take questions from fans, while a limited number of autographed prizes will be raffled off. The appearance will not include an autograph session.

The Buffalo Bills' all-time leading rusher, Thomas helped lead the team to four straight AFC titles and was named the NFL's Most Valuable Player in 1991. He was also named to five consecutive Pro Bowls from 1989-1993. He is one of just six players in NFL history with over 60 rushing touchdowns and 20 receiving touchdowns and was the first to score a touchdown in four straight Super Bowls. Thomas was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2007.
