ODAY: The Richmond Flying Squirrels and Bowie Baysox will meet in the finale of a three-game series...The Baysox scored four runs on five hits with two outs in the bottom of the third inning and snapped their five-game losing streak with a 6-5 win on Tuesday night at Prince George's Stadium.

TODAY'S STARTER: Right-hander Daryl Maday gets the start in the finale of the series for the Flying Squirrels...Got the win in four the fifth straight start at Harrisburg on 5/7...Allowed a season-high three runs on seven hits in five innings of work...Struck out two and walked one...Hit the leadoff batter on his second pitch and allowed a pair of runs in the first inning...Gave up his lone other run in the bottom of the third inning...Got two double plays turned behind him as part of six turned on the night...Allowed the leadoff man to reach in four of his five innings on the mound...Did not work a perfect inning for the second straight start...Recorded nine ground outs, two fly outs, and two strike outs...Three of the seven runs he has allowed have come in the first inning...Has won five straight decisions for the first time in his career...Ranks third in the EL with a 1.78 ERA...Attempting to become the second Eastern League pitcher to six wins (Jared Hughes).

Right-hander Ryhoei Tanaka gets the nod in the finale of the series for the Baysox...Has lost each of his last three starts including giving up four runs on five hits in six innings at The Diamond on 5/2 (0-3, 5.19)...First win came against Richmond on 4/11 when he tossed six scoreless innings, giving up just five hits while striking out four and walking none...Ranks fifth in the Eastern League with a 1.53 BB/9IP...Has pitched five-plus innings in all five of his outings this season...Spent all of 2009 with Double-A BOW in his first pro season in the United States...Went 4-4 with a 3.00 ERA in 21G/12GS...Began the season in the bullpen and worked 12 scoreless innings before being moved to the rotation 7/4/09 @ ALT...Went 4-4 with a 3.63 ERA in 12GS...Native of Ishikawa, Japan.

BURNING RUBBER: Richmond is 0-1 on the season in rubber matches...The club is 4-5 in series finales...The Flying Squirrels are 5-1-1 in series since starting the season losing each of their first two series.

NO NEAL-ING DOWN: Outfielder Thomas Neal has hits in each of his last seven games, his longest hitting streak of the season...The 22-year-old is 9-for-29 (.310) over his last seven games with five RBI and two runs scored...Neal has raised his batting average from .223 to .244 over the course of the streak...He has appeared in all 32 games for the Flying Squirrels this season including 28 games in left field and four games as the designated hitter...His four stolen bases match his season are a new career-high...Neal stole 12 bases in 15 tries in the Arizona Fall League this past offseason.

ROGER THAT: Outfielder Roger Kieschnick blasted his first home run of the season and collected a season-high three RBI in last night's contest against the Baysox...The home run was his first since 8/12 at Bakersfield...The 23-year-old went 52 games spanning 202 at-bats between home runs...Kieschnick collected just his third hit with runners in scoring position with his RBI single in top of the fifth (3-for-32).

BUILT FORD TOUGH: Outfielder Darren Ford stole his ninth base last night...He is currently tied with Austin Krum of Trenton for fifth in the Eastern League in stolen bases...Ford has been caught four times...The 24-year-old stole 35 bases last season with San Jose, fourth-most in the California League.

JUST CALL HIM K-RAIG: Right-hander Craig Whitaker struck out four Baysox batters in his 2 1/3 innings Monday night...The 25-year-old has now struck out 17 batters in 14 innings...His 10.93 K/9IP ranks fifth in the Eastern League...The former first-round pick has held opposing hitters to a .163 batting average against.

SAVING GRACE: Right-hander Rafael Cova is second in the Eastern League in saves with eight...He has converted on all of his save opportunities...The 28-year-old currently has not allowed a run over his last 7 2/3 innings on the mound and has not allowed an earned run yet this season...The lone run he has allowed was unearned in the bottom of the 14th inning on April 13th at Altoona leading to his only loss.

MAKING THEIR PITCH: The Flying Squirrels' pitching staff leads the Eastern League with a 2.77 ERA...The club has also allowed an Eastern League-low 95 runs...The 230 hits allowed by Richmond are second-fewest in the league (Trenton-223)...Flying Squirrel pitching has allowed just 37 runs, 34 earned, on 118 hits over 167 innings in the club's 19 wins (1.83 ERA)...In the team's 13 losses, the pitchers have allowed 60 runs, 54 earned, on 118 hits over 112 2/3 innings (4.31 ERA)...Richmond pitching leads the Eastern League with five shutouts.

DOUBLETREE DOWNTOWN DOUBLE PLAYS: The Richmond Flying Squirrels have turned 42 double plays in their first 32 games including six on 5/7 in Harrisburg...The club leads the Eastern League in double plays turned.

ERROR MESSAGE: The Flying Squirrels have committed just 15 errors in their first 32 games...Richmond has committed the fewest errors in the Eastern League and currently leads the league with a .988 fielding percentage...Bowie has committed the most errors in the league (38).

CFS STAT OF THE NIGHT: A night after overcoming their largest deficit of the season to win 5-4, the Flying Squirrels matched their largest blown lead of the season, coughing up 2-0 and 3-1 leads in a 6-5 loss to the Baysox...It was the third time this season that Richmond has given up a two-run lead (4/10 @ BOW, 5/9 @ HAR).
