Flyers Assign Teslak To Wheeling

GLENS FALLS, NY - The Adirondack Phantoms, proud AHL affiliate of the Philadelphia Flyers, announced today that the Flyers have reassigned goaltender Michael-Lee Teslak to the Wheeling Nailers (ECHL).

Teslak, 23, made his first appearance for the Phantoms this season last Saturday, making 28 saves in a 7-4 win over the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins at the Civic Center. The Fernie, British Columbia native has played in 12 ECHL games for the Elmira Jackals this year with a 5-5-2 record, a 2.96 goals-against average and a 0.890 save percentage. Teslak has played in 12 career AHL games for the Phantoms over the last two years, posting a 5-5-0 record with a 3.06 goals-against average and a 0.907 save percentage. Teslak signed with the Flyers as a free agent on March 19, 2008.

Wheeling's next home game is Sunday, December 27th at 6:35 against Elmira on another Sunday Family FunDay featuring a post-game open-skate with the Nailers players. Be sure to bring your skates and gloves!

The Nailers also have their traditional New Years' Eve game upcoming with a Thursday, December 31st matchup against the Toledo Walleye on Michael Jackson Tribute Night!
