
Florida Panthers Ink C Jesse Winchester

SUNRISE, Fla. - Florida Panthers Executive VP & General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that the club has agreed to terms with C Jesse Winchester on a one-year, two way contract.
Winchester, 29, has appeared in 233 National Hockey League games, all with Ottawa, registering 52 points (11-41-52) and 121 PIM. The Long Sault, Ontario, native played in five games with Jokerit (Finland) last year registering three assists.
The 6-foot-1, 215-pound forward played four years of college hockey at Colgate University, earning ECAC All-Star team honors in 2008, while also serving as team captain.
