Winnipeg Jets Release - Jets Agree to Terms with Adam Pardy

The Winnipeg Jets are pleased to announce they have agreed to terms with defenceman Adam Pardy on a new contract. As per club policy, terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Pardy, 29, played in 17 games last season with the Buffalo Sabres where he collected four assists and 14 penalty minutes. He also appeared in 21 games last year with the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League where he recorded nine points (2G,7A) and 22 penalty minutes. The native of Bonavista, NF has played in 200 career NHL games with Calgary, Dallas, and Buffalo over eight seasons where he scored 33 points (4G,29A) and collected 171 penalty minutes. He also played in six Stanley Cup playoff games with Calgary in 2009 where he collected a pair of assists. Pardy was originally drafted by the Flames in the sixth round, 173rd overall in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.
