Moose Jaw Warriors News Release
The Moose Jaw Warriors head into 2023 ready for a busy push towards the post-season over the next three months.
THIS WEEK AT THE HANGAR
The Warriors will open their 2023 home schedule with two weekend games at the Hangar.
First up, Moose Jaw hosts Calgary in a key Eastern Conference battle on Friday, sponsored by Murray GM Moose Jaw. The Hitmen sit just four points back of the Warriors for forth place with two games in hand.
Then on Saturday, the Hangar turns into the Krusty Krab for a night as the Warriors host the RE/MAX Presents: Nickelodeon Night for Children's Miracle Network when they take on the Seattle Thunderbirds.
The Warriors will be wearing special edition SpongeBob Squarepants jerseys, which will be up for auction later this week at thecrushedcan.com.
There will also be a number of SpongeBob themed games throughout the night.

LOOKING BACK
Last week saw some highs and lows for the Warriors during their return from the Christmas break.
The Warriors returned from their 12-day break and knocked off the WHL-leading Winnipeg ICE, 3-1, last Wednesday.
Moose Jaw followed that up with a tough 11-2 loss to Brandon on Friday in the final home game of 2022, but the players showed plenty of character, bouncing back with a 6-2 win Brandon on Saturday.
Also, at the World Junior Hockey Championship, Martin Rysavy and Czechia are into the semifinals, while Robert Baco put together a big performance, but Slovakia was eliminated by Canada on Monday.
