Flames Assign Ivanans to the Heat

Calgary, AB - The Calgary Flames announced today that forward Raitis Ivanans has been assigned to Abbotsford (AHL) from Calgary (NHL).

The Heat host Grand Rapids (Detroit Red Wings) to close out their season series with the Griffins in a two game, weekend set at the Abbotsford Entertainment and Sports Centre. Friday and Saturday's games start at 7:00 PM with the pre-game show beginning at 6:30 on Country 107.1. Tonight's game is the first Loonie, Toonie, Dog 'n Brew Night of 2012 while Saturday features the Zamboni Coin Bank Giveaway for the first 1,000 children (12 and under) through the doors courtesy of Vedder Transport.
