Flames Assign Five Players To Quad City

Calgary, AB - Calgary Flames General Manager Darryl Sutter announced today the following five players have been assigned to the Quad City Flames of the American Hockey League.

QUAD CITY FLAMES (AHL):

Carsen Germyn (C)

Adam Pardy (D)

Brandon Prust (LW)

Grant Stevenson (RW)

Brett Sutter (LW)

The Flames now have 24 players remaining at training camp: three goalies, seven defensemen and 14 forwards.

The Calgary Flames play their final game of the pre-season tonight in San Jose against the Sharks. The 2007-08 season opening game for the Flames is Thursday, October 4th versus the Philadelphia Flyers at the Pengrowth Saddledome. Game time is 8:00 P.M.

The Quad City Flames will begin their inaugural season as the American Hockey League affiliate of the Calgary Flames this fall at the i wireless Center.
