CAMDEN, N.J .- Five members of the Camden Riversharks have been named to the 2013 Atlantic League All-Star roster, the league announced today. They will join the Liberty Division team on Wednesday, July 10 at Regency Furniture Stadium.

The selections were made based on fan voting, as well as media votes and manager votes from each of the league's eight teams.

"We couldn't be prouder that five of our players will be representing the Riversharks and showcasing their talents at such a prestigious event," said President and General Manager Adam Lorber.

Catcher Salomon Manriquez, catcher/first baseman Raul Padron, versatile infielder Delwyn Young, and relief pitchers Ryan Quigley and Adrian Martin will represent the Riversharks in the mid-summer classic.

Padron has been the Riversharks' most consistent hitter, batting .310 to lead qualifying Camden batters. He is second on the team in RBI (33) and walks (23)

Manriquez, a solid defensive catcher, has also provided a lift at the plate. He is batting .248 with a triple and 2 home runs.

Young has played several infield positions this year and has provided pop when he steps up to bat. A switch hitter, Young leads the Riversharks in RBI with 35 and paces Camden with 28 walks on the year.

Quigley, a late-inning reliever, has been racking up the strikeouts for the Riversharks. In addition to boasting the team's lowest ERA at 1.50, Quigley has struck out 40 batters while walking just 10. In 30 innings, he has surrendered only 5 earned runs.

Martin fills the role of closer for the Riversharks. He has accumulated 9 saves and has walked only 2 batters in 25 appearances. He sits just behind Quigley in terms of ERA at 2.00. Martin has only been charged with 6 runs all season.
