BOWIE, MD - After missing two opportunities in extra innings in Richmond, the Fisher Cats (24-43) held onto a 13-inning lead against the Bowie Baysox on Sunday afternoon, winning the rubber game of their series 4-3. Sean Ochinko drove home the game-tying and game-winning runs as the Fisher Cats won their first series in a month to end their road trip with a 2-4 record.

The Fisher Cats had to play from behind all game long as Deck McGuire (ND) allowed three runs over the first five innings. Bowie starter Bobby Bundy also went five, giving up two runs and leaving the game in line for the win.

Trailing 3-2 entering the ninth, the Fisher Cats tied the game against Bowie closer Greg Burke. With the bases loaded and no outs, Ochinko drove home the tying run with a groundout to even the game at 3-3.

It stayed tied all the way until the 13th as each bullpen came up with big outs when it needed them. In the top of the final inning, consecutive one-out singles and a double steal set up Ochinko, who lofted a sac fly to center to make it a 4-3 lead. Evan Englebrook then entered the game and loaded the bases in the bottom of the frame before recording the necessary outs to secure the series.

Matt Daly (1-4) earned the win, headlining eight shutout innings of work by the Fisher Cats bullpen. Daly worked the longest outing, covering 2.1 scoreless on two hits and a walk. Matt Wright, Fernando Hernandez, and Aaron Loup also contributed to the bullpen's dominance.

In addition to Ochinko, Ryan Goins drove two runs and picked up his league-leading 83rd hit of the season.

The Fisher Cats return home on Tuesday, June 19, to begin a seven-game homestand with the Reading Phillies and Harrisburg Senators. The stand begins with a CCSNH Reading Challenge night. For the full list of promotions and to purchase tickets, visit www.nhfishercats.com.

Radio coverage of Tuesday's game begins at 6:45 PM with Tom Gauthier and Bob Lipman on the WGIR Fisher Cats Radio Network and www.nhfishercats.com.
