New England enters Matchday 6 following a 2-1 win on the road at D.C. United last Saturday, lifting the Revolution to first place in the Eastern Conference with four wins in five matches to begin the season. The Revolution climbed their way out of a 1-0 deficit with goals from forward Gustavo Bou, who evened the score on midfielder Carles Gil's 50th MLS assist, and Homegrown Player Noel Buck. A native of Arlington, Mass., Buck, who turns 18 years old next week, tallied the game-winning goal in the 88th minute when his deflected shot from the top of the penalty area found the back of the net. For his performance in last Saturday's victory, highlighted by the late heroics, Buck earned his second MLS Team of the Matchday selection this season.

Bou, who suited up for his third consecutive start, has now scored in consecutive matches for the 11th time in his MLS career. The Argentinian striker is now one goal shy of becoming the seventh player to net 40 regular season goals in a Revolution uniform. Fellow Designated Player Carles Gil, who continues to work his way back to full strength following a left leg injury, is now the fourth player in franchise history to reach the half-century mark in assists. The Spanish midfielder owns five career assists over six games played against New York City FC.

Buck was one of three teenagers to feature in New England's Starting XI last weekend, alongside 18-year-old midfielders Jack Panayotou and Esmir Bajraktarevic. With all three Homegrown Players in the starting lineup, the Revolution became the only MLS team this season to start three players 18-or-younger in the same game. Panayotou, from Cambridge, Mass., played 78 minutes and recorded two shots in his MLS debut, while Bajraktarevic turned in a 62-minute performance in his first appearance of the season.

Arena, a New York native, carries a 6-5-1 record in league play against the Bronx Blues. The Revolution lead the all-time series against their Eastern Conference rival, 10-7-4, including a 6-2-2 home record. The Revolution have four wins in the last six regular season meetings with NYCFC. Second-year Head Coach Nick Cushing's side enters Matchday 6 in seventh place in the Eastern Conference with a 2-2-1 record (7 pts.).

New England Amputee Soccer Team Halftime Exhibition

During halftime of Saturday's game, the New England Amputee Soccer Team will play an exhibition match against an amputee team from New York. The annual exhibition is one facet of the New England Revolution's longstanding partnership with the New England Amputee Soccer Team, co-founded by Concord, Mass. native and U.S. National Amputee Soccer Team player Nico Calabria. The Revolution support the amputee team in various ways including the donation of field rentals, custom uniforms, cleats, and durable crutches designed for competition.
