New York Red Bulls News Release
HARRISON, N.J. - The New York Red Bulls today announced a marketing partnership with Jinro, designating the beverage company as the "Official Soju Partner" of the club. The Jinro Sideline Bar will be featured inside Red Bull Arena behind section 127.
The partnership will be the first for Jinro with a Major League Soccer (MLS) team. Red Bull Arena will be selling a custom Jinro-infused cocktail at the Jinro Sideline Bar at a later date this season.
"We are thrilled to offer our fans the opportunity to experience the Jinro Sideline Bar while watching the Red Bulls in action at Red Bull Arena," said Joe Stetson, Chief Marketing and Revenue Officer, New York Red Bulls. "Our club is honored to be their first MLS partner and we look forward to further activating the Jinro beverage within the market."
The partnership also includes digital signage and hospitality at Red Bull Arena, as well as in-market activations with New York Red Bulls players and the Freestyle Crew.
"We are very excited about the partnership with the New York Red Bulls and we believe this partnership could help Jinro have a larger footprint in New York," said Kevin Kang, President, HiteJinro America. "In the past, soju was only consumed and loved by Koreans. Now Jinro is taking the lead in breaking those barriers and introducing Jinro Soju to the everyday US consumers. With the growing popularity of soccer in the US and the growing popularity of soju, I believe we have a perfect partnership to grow together."
