Fireworks, Food Trucks, Father's Day Headline Homestand

DURHAM, NC - The Durham Bulls return home on Thursday, June 18th to open up a seven-game homestand against the Columbus Clippers and the Toledo Mud Hens. Three fireworks shows, the first Food Truck Fest of the season and a Father's Day game highlight the event schedule.

On June 18th Durham opens up a four-game set against the Columbus Clippers, with that night's game presented by North Carolina Education Lottery. Thursday is 90s Night, a tribute to the decade that brought us Pokémon, Friends, grunge and Titanic. The 7:05 p.m. game also features $1 concessions, as Bright Leaf hot dogs, soda, and popcorn are just a buck. In addition, Thursdays are College Nights where students can get a Terrace View ticket and $5 in Bulls Bucks for just $11 or an Outfield Reserved ticket for only $5.99 by entering the promo code COLLEGE (and using a valid .edu email address) when purchasing tickets online in advance at durhambulls.com. Finally, fans can take advantage of the Blue Cross Blue Shield of NC True Blue Thursday promotion, where they can get a game ticket and exclusive cap for just $11.

On Friday, June 19th the Bulls and the Triple-A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians square off at 7:05 p.m. That night's game is presented by Quintiles, with a Friday Night Fireworks show, sponsored by Bruce Hill of RE/MAX One Realty, following the contest.

Saturday's game against Columbus is presented by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of NC. The 6:35 p.m. first pitch on June 20th will be followed by a fireworks show, presented by JT's Landscaping.

On June 21st the Bulls complete their series against the Clippers with a 5:05 p.m. first pitch. The Father's Day contest, presented by Five Guys Burgers and Fries and Two Men & a Truck, will feature a pregame catch on the field beginning at 4 p.m., while Kids Run the Bases after the game presented by Nature's Twist. Additionally, Sunday's game is a Papa's in the House Night, where fans get four tickets, four slices of Papa John's pizza and four sodas for just $40 when they show their most recent Papa John's receipt at the box office. Finally, fans are encouraged to "Stuff the Truck" by donating non-perishable food items to the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina, thanks to Five Guys Burgers and Fries and Two Men & a Truck.

After an off day on Monday, the Bulls return to action on June 23rd with the first game of a three-game set against the Toledo Mud Hens. Tuesday night's game, presented by Northwestern Mutual, is the first DBAP Food Truck Fest of the season, when eight renowned local trucks will have their culinary treats available for purchase on the Diamond View concourse within Durham Bulls Athletic Park. Participants at the DBAP Foot Truck Fest include ICED Cupcakes, Baguettaboutit, Porchetta, Chirba Chirba, Parlez Vouz Crepe, Only Burger, Humble Pig and American Meltdown.

Tuesday is also Educator Appreciation Night, sponsored by Blue Cross Blue Shield of NC, Coastal Federal Credit Union and Rex UNC Healthcare. Prior to first pitch, educators from Durham County, Wake County, Orange County and the Chapel Hill and Carrboro school districts will be recognized during an on-field parade. Furthermore, that night's 7:05 p.m. contest is a 2-for-1 ROOsday, where fans can get two Terrace View tickets for the price of one upon showing the Kangaroo Express app at the time of purchase.

On Wednesday, June 24th the Bulls and the Triple-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers play at 1:05 p.m. on Summer Camp Day at the DBAP.

Durham's seven-game homestand concludes on Thursday, June 25th against the Mud Hens. The 7:05 p.m. contest and postgame fireworks show are each presented by Avalara. The final game of the homestand again features $1 concessions courtesy of Bright Leaf Hot Dogs, is a Blue Cross Blue Shield of NC True Blue Thursday and is College Night.
