ABOUT LAST GAME: The Fireflies dominated the GreenJackets for the second straight game, 8-2, on Tuesday night at Spirit Communications Park. Columbia is 6-0 against Augusta at home this season. Jordan Humphreys lasted six innings and picked up eight strikeouts. Entering today, the righty is the only pitcher in Minor League Baseball with eight wins. Milton Ramos and Andres Gimenez each posted two hits. Gimenez produced a two-run triple. It was the seventh triple of the year for the Fireflies.
TAKE IT TO THEM: Columbia's offense has been lethal against Augusta this season. The Fireflies are outscoring the GreenJackets 58-16 in six games at Spirit Communications Park. The two clubs have battled 10 times all together and Columbia has a .279 batting average as a team in these contests.

MILTON AT HOME: Milton Ramos has scored four runs and delivered four hits in his last two games at Spirit Communications Park. Before this, the infielder had just eight hits at home all season. Ramos has played 27 of his 36 games at third base this year. He played 104 games at shortstop in 2016.
JAB ON 'EM: Jay Jabs has four doubles in his last five games. Prior to this, Jabs had only two doubles in his first 17 games.
ON THIS DAY: On the final day of May last year, the Fireflies defeated the Rome Braves, 4-3. Columbia was outhit in the game 12-4 and still managed to pull out the victory. Kevin Kaczmarski's three-run double was a big difference in the contest.
