READING, PA- Franklyn Kilome held Hartford to one run and three hits over seven innings and Reading slugged three home runs to defeat the Yard Goats 7-1 Tuesday night in Reading. It was the rubber game of the five-game series. After allowing Hartford (41-41) it's only run on a wild pitch in the third inning, Kilome settled down to retire 10 straight. On the Philadelphia Phillies' 40-man roster, the right-hander turned in his longest outing of the season, seven innings, while walking four and striking out six.

Jesus Tinoco, on the Colorado Rockies' 40-man roster, lasted five innings, allowing six runs on seven hits. He walked one and struck out two.

Austin Bossart's two-run homer, a home run, double and two runs batted in by Jan Hernandez and three hits by Malquin Canelo paced Reading's(37-46) nine-hit attack.

The Yard Goats open a 5-game series at Dunkin' Donuts Park against the Portland Sea Dogs Wednesday afternoon at 4:05. LHP Jack Wynkoop will pitch for Hartford against RHP Teddy Stankiewicz for the Red Sox affiliate. The game will be televised on Vantage Sportsnet, broadcast on AM 1410 WPOP and streamed on newsradio1410.iheart.com and MiLB.com.
