FC Dallas News Release
FRISCO, Texas - Dallas-based Hotels.com and Major League Soccer's FC Dallas have formed a unique partnership this season with an eye on rewarding fans, starting with the Captain's Quarters.
Not your typical hospitality suite, the Hotels.com Captain's Quarters mimics the distinguished home of Captain Obvious, the biggest fan of Hotels.com, with traditional furniture, rich burgundy paint, a club chair, passport-stamp patterned wallpaper, vacation photo albums, and framed accolades. Guests can even try on the Captain's famous red jacket and hat, or pose for pictures with a life-size cutout of Captain Obvious in the suite.
"The Captains' Quarters suite looks amazing, and the upgraded experience Hotels.com is offering our fans is special," said FC Dallas President Dan Hunt. "We love when we can form strong partnerships with other Dallas-based businesses, but especially when it's one so focused on rewarding our FC Dallas fans."
Fans can win tickets to the Captain's Quarters through promotions on Hotels.com/ FC Dallas or take a chance to get upgraded to the suite on game day at the FC Dallas Sound Stage on the North Concourse prior to the scarfing ceremony. The Latin House Krew DJs will give away tickets through various contests, such as trivia or, most recently, a dance-off.
"Our partnership with FC Dallas is the perfect fit for Hotels.com," said Josh Belkin, vice president and general manager, North America for Hotels.com. "With our headquarters in Dallas, we take pride in supporting the Dallas community. We've grown as a business significantly since we started as a telephone call center 25 years ago and we are proud to support another growing Dallas team."
Hotels.com will also be giving away other prizes through promotions on FC Dallas social media channels throughout the season. In addition, FC Dallas fans who want to follow the team's away games can join the Hotels.com Rewards program to reap all the extra benefits. For every 10 nights you collect at any type of accommodation around the world, you get one night free*.
Season ticket memberships are available for only $234, starting at $16 per match, which includes the remaining 13 MLS matches and two group stage CONCACAF Champions League matches this fall. Premium season ticket memberships, which include reserved parking, food and beverage, club amenities, and more, are also available starting at only $70 per match.
