Portland Timbers to Host Tryouts this Weekend for Sueño MLS 2016

PORTLAND - The dream continues this weekend for more than 400 aspiring young soccer players as Sueño MLS 2016 - Presented by Allstate Insurance Company, the nationally-televised player search, moves to Oregon with tryouts on April 16 at Lents Park Sports Center and at Providence Park on April 17 in Portland, Ore., hosted by the Portland Timbers.

Friends and family of participating players, as well as the general public, are invited to watch the tryouts and enjoy the interactive fan zone presented by the event partners. Portland Timbers defender Alvas Powell, as well as Univision Deportes personality Aly Villegas are scheduled to make special appearances.

In addition, Sueño MLS will host a free public goalkeeping clinic on Saturday, April 16, between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. PT.
