FC Dallas Goes for Fourth Straight Win on Saturday against Montreal

FC Dallas (7-1-5, 26 points) hosts the Montreal Impact (4-10-0, 12 points) on Saturday, June 9 at Toyota Stadium in a match presented by WinStar World Casino and Resort. This will be the only match of the season between these two clubs.

Summer Streaking

FC Dallas has won three straight matches and is unbeaten in its last six. Dallas hasn't lost since falling 3-1 to NYCFC on Sunday, April 29 at Yankee Stadium.

Streaking at Toyota Stadium

FC Dallas hasn't lost at Toyota Stadium in 14 matches dating back to August 12, 2017. Dallas' last loss in Frisco was a 4-0 defeat to the Vancouver Whitecaps on July 29, 2017. This stretch matches the second-longest unbeaten run at home in team history. FCD played 19 home matches without a loss from August 29, 2015-September 3, 2016.

Good in Goal

Regardless of who has been in goal, FC Dallas has gotten phenomenal production from the goalkeeper position in 2018. Jesse Gonzalez has saved 81.3% of the shots he has faced from inside his box, the most among all MLS goalkeepers. Only three other players have a save percentage of at least 70% on similar shots, none more than 76.5%.

Against Montreal

FC Dallas is 4-1-1 in six meetings against the Montreal Impact. Dallas has won the last two matches against Montreal, including a 2-1 win on July 22, 2017 at Stade Saputo in Montreal. The Impact's only victory in this series came on a 2-1 win in Montreal in 2015. FCD has never lost to the Impact at Toyota Stadium, most recently topping Montreal 2-0 on March 19, 2016 in Frisco.

The Impact recently ended a four-match losing streak with a win over the Houston Dynamo on Saturday, June 2 in Montreal. The Impact are currently 9th in the Eastern Conference and have gone 1-7-0 on the road in 2018.
