ATLANTA - Atlanta United returns to action on Saturday, June 9 when it visits New York City FC at Yankee Stadium in a clash of the top two teams in the Eastern Conference, as well as the two highest scoring teams in MLS. The match is scheduled to kick-off at 12:30 p.m. EST and will be televised on FOX Sports Southeast.

Atlanta will visit Yankee Stadium for the first of two road matches this week against the East's top teams, as it faces Columbus on Wednesday, June 13. In league play , Atlanta sits atop the Supporters' Shield Standings with 29 points and is coming off a 3-1 win against Philadelphia on June 2. Josef MartÃ-nez scored his MLS-leading 12th goal and his fifth career MLS hat trick, tying the all-time league record in only 34 games. On Wednesday night, Atlanta defeated Charleston Battery 3-0 behind goals from Andrew Carleton, Ezequiel Barco and Romario Williams to advance to the U.S. Open Cup Round of 16.

New York City FC enters the weekend in second place in the Eastern Conference standings through 14 games and is the only team left in MLS with a perfect home record (6-0-0). NYCFC defeated Orlando City SC 3-0 in its last league match on June 2 thanks to a brace from Ismael Tajouri-Shradi and a late goal from Maxi Morález. Midweek, New York Red Bulls beat NYCFC 4-0 in Open Cup play.
