* Matt Mahalak was named Vaughn CHL Goaltender of the Week. Mahalak posted a 2-0-0-0 record with a shutout victory and a goals-against-average of 0.50 and save percentage of .982 during the week of December 1st.

* The Kingston Frontenacs are coming off a perfect weekend after 3 straight wins including a 2-1 victory of the Oshawa Generals.

* Spencer Watson registered his first OHL career hat trick on Saturday night in Belleville.

* Spencer Watson and Matt Mahalak both received an honorable mention from the OHL's Player of the Week announcement.

* The Kingston Frontenacs are currently ranked 2nd in the East Division with 23 points, 10 points behind Oshawa in first with 43 points.
