Fresno Grizzlies News Release
FRESNO, CA - The most anticipated sports giveaway item of the spring will be distributed to the first 2,500 people entering Chukchansi Park on Saturday, May 31st. The Drag Kings Bobble Doll giveaway, forever immortalizing the premier infield-dragging dance crew in Minor League Baseball, will be accompanied that night by a special Drag Kings performance to a song chosen by Grizzlies' fans.
On Saturday, May 31st, when the Grizzlies open a four-game series against the Tucson Sidewinders, the first 2,500 fans into the ballpark (gates open at 6:05pm) will receive a limited edition Drag Kings Bobble Doll courtesy of Tickets.Com. At the conclusion of the 5th inning of play, the Drag Kings will perform on the field, but this particular performance will have an element of fan involvement.
Since Friday afternoon fans visiting fresnogrizzlies.com have been given the opportunity to fill out a survey to vote for the song that the Drag Kings will perform to on Saturday. Fans will be able to vote for one of five selections: "I Want You Back" by the Jackson 5, Justin Timberlake's "Sexy Back", Soulja Boy's "Crank That", Michael Jackson's "Beat It", and N'Sync's "Bye, Bye, Bye".

All fans who complete the survey can print out a voucher to bring to the Chukchansi Park box office and receive a complimentary pair of tickets to the May 31st contest.
More importantly though, is that one lucky Grizzlies fan will win the opportunity to perform with the Drag Kings at the June 27th game against Las Vegas. Though the quartet and has fiercely protected themselves from any "guest appearances" since their inception in 2007, they will welcome one lucky (and hopefully coordinated) Grizzlies' fan with open arms for one night only in June.
Additionally on Saturday, Kellie Greenwald, the sister of Grizzlies' radio play-by-play broadcaster Doug Greenwald will be signing copies of her book, Kellie's Book--The Art of the Possible on the main concourse. Through her artwork, the book chronicles the life of Kellie (age 30) who has Down Syndrome.
The Grizzlies open an eight-game homestand against the Tacoma Rainiers and Tucscon Sidewinders when they welcome Tacoma to Chukchansi Park on Tuesday, May 27th at 7:05pm. For more information regarding promotions, tickets, or Grizzlies baseball, visit fresnogrizzlies.com or call 559.320.HITS.
