
Falcons to hold karaoke contest, collect coats for kids

Fresno, CA...Fresno Falcons hockey players will act as judges on Tuesday night during the Sing Like A Falcon II Ladies Night Karaoke Contest held at the Sierra Vista Mall from 6-7:30pm. All Ladies are welcome to attend and belt out part of their favorite song in front of the judges. The five ladies with the best score at 7:15pm will have the chance to sing a pre selected song that will be used to determine two finalists. The two finalists will have the chance to sing that song on KMPH Fox 26's Great Day program on Monday, November 26th. The two finalists will also perform on the ice at the Falcons game on Monday, November 26th when the Falcons play Utah at 7pm. Falcons fans will determine who will be crowned as the 2007 Fresno Falcons Karaoke Ice Queen. Melvin the Karaoke King, of Music by Melvin will conduct the Karaoke contest at the Mall and on the ice. Special Ladies Night Ticket vouchers are available at Sierra Vista Mall starting today through next Monday. Ladies night is presented by Sierra Vista Mall and Advanced Laser Clinic of Fresno.
Ladies Night on the 26th is the third game of the Falcons Holiday Hat Trick Weekend. The Falcons are back on home ice this Saturday for the first time since a thrilling win against Bakersfield on October 27. The Falcons will seek revenge against the Alaska Aces Saturday night at 7:30pm. The first 3000 fans will receive a free Falcons team poster courtesy of Riverpark Midas and Port of Subs. Two lucky fans will also compete in the Supercuts/Madtown Go Cart Races, and the Falcons welcome fans from our neighboring mountain communities for Sierra Slam Night.

Sunday,the Falcons play Utah at 5pm on Comcast Cable/Port of Subs family Night. Special family night coupons are available at all Port of Subs locations for both the Saturday and the Sunday Falcons games. Monday concludes the Holiday Hat Trick with the Falcons facing off against the Utah Grizzlies at 7pm on Ladies Night presented by Sierra Vista Mall and Advanced Laser Clinic of Fresno. There will be Ladies Night prize giveaways throughout the game and one lucky lady will win the honor of being crowned the 2007 Fresno Falcons Karaoke Ice Queen.
