October 4, 2005 - ECHL (ECHL)
Fresno Falcons News Release

FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno Falcons' roster has reached 20 players as the team approaches the start of training camp in preparation for the 2005-06 ECHL regular season. The club has signed Rob McFeeters and Kelsey Muench, second-year forwards that both played for Falcons head coach and general manager Matt Thomas when all three were with the Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies last season.

McFeeters posted 19 points (5g-14a) and 10 penalty minutes in 38 games during his first full professional campaign with Atlantic City a year ago. He turned pro and played a handful of games in the United Hockey League in 2003-04 after a successful four-year collegiate career at Clarkson University, where he generated 90 points (33g-57a) in 127 games played.

The rights to Muench were acquired via trade from the Johnstown Chiefs in exchange for financial considerations. He appeared in 59 games for the Bullies last season and recorded 19 points (6g-13a) and 95 penalty minutes.

"I'm excited to add two players that I know very well and add depth to our line-up," said Thomas. "Rob is one of the smartest players that I've ever coached. He can play any forward position and was one of our top penalty killers in Atlantic City. Kelsey is a strong, two-way forward who plays with an edge and has the ability to score 20 goals at this level."

The Falcons open the 2005-06 regular season on Oct. 21 and 22 at Save Mart Center against the Victoria Salmon Kings and Stockton Thunder, respectively. Both games begin at 7 p.m. Single-game tickets are on sale now at all Ticketmaster outlets and Save Mart Center's box office. Prices range from $8 - $23.
