Player Moves
Right-handed pitcher Matt Albers, who tossed four games for Round Rock last season, was pulled early from his Monday start and called up to Houston where he is expected to help carry some of the load left by starter Jason Jennings, who is currently on the disabled list.
In his place, right-handed reliever Travis Driskill was activated from the inactive list.
Albers was 1-1 with a 6.23 ERA over three starts for the Express in 2007. He went 10-2 with Double-A Corpus Christi in 2006 and was 0-2 with a 6.00 ERA over four appearances with Houston.
Driskill, who has not appeared for Round Rock yet, led the 2006 Express with 15 saves and carved out a 3.20 ERA over 52 appearances, his best since 1995.
