
Express to Host Final Homestand of Regular Season August 21-25

ROUND ROCK, Texas - The Round Rock Express will host the Oklahoma City RedHawks for five games to close out the 2013 home portion of the regular season starting Wednesday, August 21 at Dell Diamond.
The Express and RedHawks will start the final home series of 2013 at 7:05 p.m. Wednesday night for Winning Wednesday, presented by the Texas Lottery featuring game show style promotions throughout the night with your host Ballpark Rob Barker. Game two will also start at 7:05 p.m. Thursday night with the Original Thirsty Thursday, presented by Firetrol Protection Systems as Dell Diamond will include discounted draft beer and $1.00 sodas throughout the night. On Friday, the Express and RedHawks game will be followed by the final showcase of Budweiser Friday Fireworks as Dell Diamond will light up the Central Texas sky for the last time on a Friday night following the conclusion of the 7:05 p.m. game. Saturday night will be Shirt Off The Back Night, presented by Carino's as fans will have the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets that will be drawn after the game for a chance to win jerseys right off the player's backs. Proceeds from the raffle benefit Autism Speaks. The Express and RedHawks will wrap things up on Sunday with the last H-E-B Kid's Day featuring kiddie train rides, interactive inflatable games, a post-game run of the bases and much more! Also on Sunday, the Express will take time to thank its fans on Fan Appreciation Night. Players will greet fans at the gate to show appreciation of the support the community has shown towards the Express throughout not only the season, but also the Express' tenure in Round Rock. Following the game, Dell Diamond's 36'x55' LED video board will showcase the 2013 Fan Appreciation Video before the largest fireworks extravaganza of the season!
The RedHawks will bring three of Houston's top 20 organizational prospects as ranked by MLB.com including No. 2 1B Jonathan Singleton, No. 3 OF George Springer and No. 14 RHP Asher Wojciechowski. With all this and more on the horizon, Dell Diamond will be the place to be this week!
