Exciting Homestand Starts Tuesday

The Norfolk Tides return to Harbor Park Tuesday night, winners of two straight games. The Tides knocked off the Charlotte Knights 4-1 on Sunday afternoon, and followed that up with a 5-4 win over the Knights on Monday. The Tides will be home for 12 of the next 14 games, with exciting promotions lined up every night at Harbor Park! As always, tickets are available for purchase at the Harbor Park box office, ticketmaster outlets, or online at norfolktides.com.

FRIENDLY'S YOUTH DAY

On Saturday, May 19, $2.00 reserved tickets can be purchased at the Harbor Park box office for Friendly's Youth Day. In order to qualify for discounted tickets, a team representative from a youth baseball or softball team must come to the Harbor Park box office and buy the tickets. One person can not come down and buy tickets for the whole league, and only 20 tickets may be purchased per team.

The tickets bought on May 19 will be good for the Tides' afternoon game on Sunday, June 3 against the Pawtucket Red Sox at 1:15 p.m. For more information, please call the Tides' offfice at 622-2222.

ORIOLES CARE PROGRAM

The Orioles Care Program allows under-privelaged kids and adults the opportunity to obtain free Tides' tickets throughout the 2007 season.

Sponsored by the Baltimore Orioles, the program provides complimentary tickets for each Tides home game to area groups and individuals who otherwise may not be able to attend games at Harbor Park.

AJ WRIGHT BASEBALL CAMP 2007

Each year, kids of all ages take part in the AJ Wright Baseball Camp at Harbor Park. This program allows children to learn many vital skills of baseball as taught by coaches and players of the Tides.

The 2007 camp will be held on July 21 and 22. To request an application, please email your address to Hmckeating@norfolktides.com.

The 2006 camp was a huge success! Thanks again to all the campers for coming out to Harbor Park!
