
Knights Rally Washes Away

FORT MILL, S.C. - May 14, 2007 - Monday was Turn Back the Clock Day at Knights Stadium and Charlotte went back to the loss column after losing to Norfolk 5-4. The Tides won for the second day in a row and managed to split the four-game series with the Knights.
After Tides 3B Terry Tiffee hit a two-run double in the first, Knights catcher Toby Hall hit a 3-run home run in the 4th to give Charlotte a 3-2 lead. Norfolk catcher J.R. House knocked in two runs with his RBI single in the 6th to give the Tides the lead for good.
Garrett Olson (1-4, 4.21) picked up his first win of the season for Norfolk. Heath Phillips (3-3, 4.47) took the loss for the Knights.
The Knights begin an eight-game road trip to the Buckeye State with a pair of four-game series in Columbus and Toledo. Charlotte returns home on May 24.
