Syracuse, NY - The Chiefs dropped the third game of a four-game series to the Louisville Bats with a 9-4 loss on Saturday night at NBT Bank Stadium with a crowd of nearly 6,000 in attendance on Star Wars Night. Alejandro De Aza walked twice in the game, extending his International League on-base streak to 21 games.
Louisville (40-55) scored first in the top of the second inning. D.J. Peterson led off with a walk. Josh VanMeter followed with a single that moved Peterson to third base. Steve Selsky then doubled, scoring Peterson to put the Bats in front, 1-0. Chadwick Tromp followed with a three-run home run to left field that gave Louisville a 4-0 lead.
