In a battle of first-place teams, the North-leading IronPigs (58-39) play Game 3 of a four-game series against the West-leading Toledo Mud Hens (53-44) at Fifth Third Field... With a 6-5 victory in 10 innings last night, the Pigs snapped a two-game skid and improved to 3-2 on this seven-game, West Division road trip. Lehigh Valley has won 10 of its last 13 contests and owns a 29-13 record since June 3. The Pigs leads in the North remains at 5.5 games over Scranton/WB... The Mud Hens -- Detroit's top affiliate -- have now dropped five of their last eight affairs. Since owning a league-best 37-20 record through June 6, the Hens own just a 16-24 record over their last 40 contests... Toledo took the first meeting, 2-1, in Allentown from June 1-3.

LHP Cole Irvin (8-3, 2.73) will start for LHV against RHP Kyle Funkhouser (0-1, 3.00).
