ESTERO, FL - The Florida Everblades (38-19-9) saw a two-goal lead disappear as the Victoria Salmon Kings (14-48-5) battled from behind to earn a 4-3 victory over the Everblades at Germain Arena. The win was the first for Victoria when trailing after two periods of play.

The Everblades jumped out quickly with Chris Lee tallying just 1:48 into the game putting Florida up 1-0. However, the Salmon Kings answered back at 4:39 of the period when Ryan Finnerty notched an even strength goal.

Reggie Berg scored the next two goals of the game, giving Florida a 3-1 lead early in the second period. Berg's first of the night and 17th of the season came on the power play at 16:12 of the first, and his second came at 4:04 of the middle period. Victoria cut the Everblades lead to 3-2 when Mike Josephson scored at 5:39 of the second period.

Despite being 0-43-2 when trailing after two periods of play, the Salmon Kings picked up an early third period goal by Chris Corrinett at 1:50 of the period, then picked up the eventual game winning goal on the power play at 13:25 when Kurtis Dulle jammed home a rebound.

The Everblades, who hadn't lost in regulation when leading after two periods this season, were out-shot 42-33 in the contest.

Rob Zepp (11-9-2) suffered the loss in goal for the Everblades, and Robert Muntain (2-2-0) picked up the win in net for the Salmon Kings. The teams have each won a game in the season series with one game remaining.
