Lynx ready for Good Friday against Pensacola
March 25, 2005 - ECHL (ECHL)
Augusta Lynx News Release
Coming off an exciting 3-2 shootout win over the Columbia Inferno last night, the Augusta Lynx have their sights set on the Pensacola Ice Pilots tonight on Comcast Fort Gordon Support Night.
Good seats are still available by calling the Lynx office at (706) 724-4ICE, or at the Civic Center Box Office. Comcast subscribers get $1 off each ticket by ordering tickets at 724-4ICE and asking for the Comcast Group Rate. The Comcast discount is not available anywhere else and tickets must be ordered by 4 p.m. on game days.
Another great night of promotions are on tap for Lynx fans, including the Lynx Game Jersey Auction and Meet and Greet with the players following the game in the Lynx Den. The Lynx and one of its great sponsors, E-Z-GO, also have a special giveaway planned for tonight's contest, as one lucky fan will win the Lynx E-Z-GO ST 350 Workhorse, the one the team has been using on the ice during intermissions in 2004-05.
The E-Z-GO Score-O Contest has been a fan favorite all season long, and one of the 32 contestants who took part in the contest this season will have their name drawn as the winner of the E-Z-GO vehicle.
Fans can also enter a raffle to win Lynx captain Louis Goulet's game-worn jersey from the 2003-04 season. Tickets are $5 and are available at the Sprint Customer Service Booth. The drawing will be held at the April 9 game.
It's also the final SlapShot Team Trivia contest of the 2004-05 season, with Trivia Time's Mike Thomas running the game once again. Be sure to sign up your team at one of the two trivia tables in the arena.
Season Ticket renewals and sales for the 2005-06 season continue at the game tonight. Stop by one of three locations to pick up all-new 2005-06 Brochures and Ticket Applications, and check out all of the great perks for Season Ticket Holders for next season. The Lynx are offering a special discount price for Early Bird renewals and new Season Tickets, but also are offering five months same-as-cash financing on season tickets. You can lock in your seats for next season with a $50 deposit tonight and at all remaining Lynx home games
Five lucky fans who take advantage of the Early Bird Special and pay in full by our final regular season game on April 9 will win an Augusta Lynx 1980 Miracle on Ice U.S. Olympic Team Jersey, as worn by the Lynx during the Nov. 12 game.
Sign up for your Early Bird Option and pay in full by April 9, 2005, and your name will be entered into the drawing for the five jerseys. You get one entry for every ticket you purcahse so the more seats you have, the better your chances of winning the jersey will be!
