
Storm Erase Early Defecit To Beat Bombers

Toledo, OH â The Dayton Bombers scored first, but dropped a 4-1 decision to the Toledo Storm in front of 3,921 at The Toledo Sports Arena in Toledo, Ohio Friday night. Nick Parillo scored two goals in a winning effort for the Storm.
There was no scoring in the first period, but a couple fights set the tone for a physical game. MATT HERNEISEN fought Mike James at 7:46, and STEVE DIX battled Joey Martin at 8:08 of the opening period.
The Bombers opened the scoring when BRENT OZAROWSKI beat Storm goaltender Scott Fankhauser at 3:12 of the second period. The Storm rallied with back-to-back goals from Nick Parillo at 7:51 and 18:13, and Toledo led 2-1 after 40 minutes.
Kevin Bergin (14:09) and Todd Jackson (PPG, 17:54) added third period goals for the Storm, who are fighting for a playoff spot in the North Division.
The Dayton Bombers return to action tomorrow (Saturday) night when they host the Toledo Storm. Audio coverage begins at 7:00 PM at daytonbombers.com.
