Everblades Post 1-2-0 Week At Home

During three games this week all against South Carolina, the Florida Everblades posted a 1-2-0 mark. All three games were decided by 3-2 counts. Wednesday marked the first meeting since South Carolina knocked Florida out of the playoffs last season. The Everblades served a measure of revenge claiming the victory with a goal with less than five minutes remaining in regulation. Friday and Saturday, the Stingrays stung the Everblades with a pair of 3-2 victories. The Florida Everblades go on the road for a three-game road trip this week. The 'Blades make their first visits of the season to division foe dens. Florida will be in Bobcat Arena on Wednesday and Thursday to do battle with the Checkers, then finish up in the Gwinnett Center on Friday to finish the trip up against the Gladiators. All three games can be heard on the Everblades flagship station, Fox Sports Radio, 1200/1460AM and via Sportsjuice on the Everblades website. GAME NOTES: The Florida Everblades and South Carolina Stingrays met for the first of 13 battles this season. The Everblades prevailed thanks to a Brandon Buck (3) late third period goal, 3-2. Buck chipped in an assist as well, while linemate Rob Hennigar also tallied two helpers in the Blades victory. Friday, October 30 vs South Carolina Germain Arena 7:30PM

GAME NOTES: South Carolina topped Florida 3-2 to record their first road win of the season. Trent Campbell notched the game winner for the visitors while Mathieu Roy accounted for both Florida goals in the game. Checker netminder Todd Ford stopped 33 shots in the win for Charlotte. Saturday, October 31 vs South Carolina Germain Arena 7:30PM

GAME NOTES: Halloween night in Germain Arena brought treats for the visiting Stingrays as they topped Florida for the second straight night, 3-2. Mike Fornataro's penalty shot with just 2:38 remaining in the third period proved to be the difference. Rob Hennigar (2) and Ernie Hartlieb (3) accounted for the Everblades goals. Todd Ford improved to 2-0 recorded his second straight victory over Florida stopping 31 shots in the win. THIS WEEK Wednesday, November 4 @ Charlotte Bobcat Arena 7:00PM

GAME NOTES: This game marks the first of back-to-back tilts in Charlotte, North Carolina between the Everblades and Checkers. The two teams met on October 23 and 24 in Florida with the Everblades winning the first 5-3, while the Checkers won the second contest, 4-2. The two clubs will meet a total of seven times in Charlotte this season. Thursday, November 5 @ Charlotte Bobcat Arena 7:00PM

GAME NOTES: Florida posted five goals against Charlotte in their opening night home win on Oct. 23. Five markers is the most the 'Blades have scored in a game to date. GAME NOTES: The Everblades and Gladiators met two times in the preseason on October 9 and 10 in Germain Arena. The Everblades claimed victory in both contests scoring six goals in each game. This is the first regular season battle between these two clubs. INSIDE THE NUMBERS

In the Everblades lone win, Hartlieb notched the first goal of the game and finished +1 on the evening. In game two versus the Stingrays, the Warren Michigan native chipped in his only assist of the week and finally on Saturday, Hartlieb tallied his second goal of the week and finished +1.
