Esks Select WR Devon Bailey in First Round of CFL Draft

(Edmonton) - The Edmonton Eskimo Football Club has selected non-import wide receiver

Devon Bailey with the sixth pick in the first round of the CFL Canadian Draft.

In four seasons at St. Francis Xavier University, Bailey recorded 87 receptions for 1,160 yards and six touchdowns. In 2013, the six-foot-five, 202-pound native of Mississauga, Ont., ranked second in the conference in receiving yards per game (66.5) and average yards per catch (14.8). His five touchdowns that season led the conference.

The Eskimos have the following four selections remaining:

2nd Round: 6th pick, 15th overall 4th Round : 3rd pick, 30th overall 6th Round : 3rd pick, 48th overall 7th Round : 3rd pick, 57th overall
