Eskimos Sign Bazzie

(Edmonton) - The Edmonton Eskimos have signed free agent international defensive lineman Alex Bazzie through the 2019 season.

Bazzie returned the CFL this past season after spending the beginning of the year in the NFL with the Colts, Panthers, and Cardinals, and appeared in six games where he recorded 14 tackles and three quarterback sacks.

In four seasons, all with BC, Bazzie has appeared in 56 games and has recorded 105 tackles, 32 sacks, and two forced fumbles. Bazzie earned West All-Star honours in 2016 when he appeared in 18 games and recorded 31 tackles, 11 sacks, and one forced fumble.
