Eskimos Re-Sign Konar

(Edmonton) - The Edmonton Eskimos have re-signed national linebacker Adam Konar through the 2019 season.

Through his first three seasons in the CFL, all with Edmonton, Konar has appeared in 23 games and has recorded 68 tackles, one sack, two interceptions, and one forced fumble.

In 2017, Konar broke onto the scene when he appeared in 12 games and recorded 63 tackles, one sack, two interceptions, and one forced fumble. In the West Semi-Final and West Final, the U of C alum, recorded 12 total tackles.

"I'm really excited to be back in Edmonton for the next two seasons," said Eskimos linebacker Adam Konar. "My goal now is to help the club win the Grey Cup at home."
