Eskimos Make Another Draft Day Trade to Acquire Borhort

(Edmonton) The Edmonton Eskimos have traded their 19th overall selection and 27th overall selection in the 2010 CFL Canadian Draft to the Hamilton Tiger Cats in exchange for the 12th overall selection in the 2010 CFL Canadian Draft. With that pick the Eskimos have selected defensive back Saleem Borhort.

Borhort recorded 19 defensive tackles, three pass knockdowns, two interceptions for 47 yards and one fumble recovery in eight games in 2009 with the St. Mary's Huskies. Prior to joining the Huskies, the Calgary native was a member of the CJFL's Okanagan Suns. He was named 2005 Team MVP and was a Conference All-Star and an All-Canadian that same season
